IKAA has been established to better serve the Korean adoptee community, create a strong communication forum, build global relationships and provide a location where Korean adoptees can turn when in need of a resource.

The IKAA Gathering 2010 will take place next summer in Seoul, Korea during August 3-8, 2010. As is tradition at the Gatherings, the IKAA Gathering 2010 will provide the opportunity for adoptees to present a wide variety of sessions related to Korean adoption and living as a Korean adoptee. The planning committee encourages submission of thoughtful proposals for sessions that will provide attendees an opportunity to learn, network, share, interact, and reflect. We welcome session proposals from artists, academics, community organizers, filmmakers, writers, and other members of the Korean adult adoptee community.

Asian Adult Adoptees of Washington (AAAW) is a resource that provides mentoring, fellowship and educational opportunities for Asian American and Pacific Islander adoptees and the community. Based in Seattle, AAAW is a Federal 501 (c)3 status non-profit organization led by an all volunteer Board of Directors.

Boston Korean Adoptees, Inc. is a non-profit organization focused on building a community of adult adoptees with a connection to Korea in the greater Boston and New England area. Boston Korean Adoptees, Inc. also works to educate those in the larger community about the issues surrounding international adoption and transracial adoption.
